Nestled in the heart of Albuquerque, Viet's Phở offers an authentic Vietnamese dining experience that proudly celebrates the rich, vibrant flavors of traditional pho and a diverse menu of classic Vietnamese dishes. Conveniently located at 4208 Menaul Blvd NE, this cozy restaurant is a beloved gem for both pho enthusiasts and newcomers alike, serving up bowls brimming with fragrant broth and fresh ingredients that comfort and delight the palate.
The star of the menu is undoubtedly their Sliced Rare Beef Pho, boasting a deeply savory, slow-simmered broth that hits all the right notes of umami and warmth. Each spoonful is enhanced by perfectly cooked rice noodles, tender slices of rare beef, and a bouquet of fresh pho toppings — from crisp bean sprouts to bright lime wedges and fragrant basil — inviting diners to customize every bite. Equally enticing are their spring rolls, especially the Shrimp Spring Roll and Chicken Spring Rolls, which come with a refreshingly tangy and nutty peanut sauce that adds a harmonious contrast of texture and flavor.
What truly sets Viet’s Phở apart is the breadth of their menu, showcasing not only pho but also a variety of vermicelli patties, noodles, and rice dishes. For example, the Special Vermicelli Patties Banh hoi dac biet blend grilled pork, shrimp, and meatballs wrapped in delicate bean curd skin, adorned with fried onions and crushed peanuts—each bite a satisfying mosaic of savory, crispy, and aromatic elements. Fans of stir-fried dishes will appreciate options like the mixed combination egg noodles or rice noodles with shrimp, chicken, pork, and beef, bursting with vibrant vegetables like zucchini and broccoli to balance the rich flavors.
Another standout is the Clay Pot Beef and Grilled Beef Wrapped in Grape Leaves (Bo La), dishes that exude smoky, caramelized goodness and promise a hearty, soul-satisfying meal. For those who prefer lighter or vegetarian fare, menu items such as the vegetable rice noodle soup provide equally compelling flavors without sacrificing authenticity or depth.
The atmosphere at Viet’s Phở is equally inviting—welcoming and down-to-earth with attentive staff who make every guest feel valued. Guests frequently mention the fast, friendly service and warm hospitality, which perfectly complements the flavorful fare. The vibrant menu options, combined with affordable prices and a clean, casual setting, create an environment ideal for anything from a quick lunch to a relaxed dinner with family or friends.
One regular, Shruti Subramanian, praised the rich seasoning and balance of the chicken pho, highlighting how the fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked rice noodles come together harmoniously. Others, like Ariana Perea, appreciate the attentive service and vegetarian options, making Viet’s Phở a go-to spot for diverse dietary preferences. The unanimous sentiment among customers is clear: this is a place where authentic Vietnamese flavors shine, and where every visit leaves you eager to return.
Whether you’re craving the comforting warmth of a well-crafted bowl of pho, the satisfying crunch of a spring roll dipped in peanut sauce, or the enticing aromas of sizzling vermicelli patties and stir-fried noodles, Viet’s Phở delivers an unforgettable culinary journey. It’s a standout destination for anyone seeking genuine Vietnamese cuisine in Albuquerque—flavorful, fresh, and made with heart.
Great fast service with delicious food. The spring rolls were so refreshing and tasty with the peanut sauce. The chicken pho was well seasoned, chicken was well cooked and the vegetables added to it brought the pho together. Broth was well seasoned and perfect for the pho. I added some siracha and soy to it along with lots of moong beans and lime. The rice noodles were well cooked and not chewy at all. My friend ordered the Banh seo and that was huge. Crispy on the edges and soft on the inside. Definitely recommend this restaurant
Great food! Awesome staff.... very friendly and down to earth. Had an amazing experience eating here. Will definitely be coming back.
This is my absolute favorite place to get pho. I come here at least once or twice a month. The staff have never failed to provide amazing service they’re also so kind and attentive. I’ve never waited long for my food even when they’re busy. I’m also vegetarian and they have so many good options my favorite being number 77 on the menu which is the vegetable rice noodle soup.
Best Pho I’ve ever had. Thank you and I will be back! The broth was so rich and the meat was very delicious. The egg rolls were so crispy and flavorful. The prices were very affordable. I had my doubts about trying Asian food here since I just moved to the town but I can now say I have found a great Pho place :)
Great food! Whenever I go out with family to a restaurant, I love perusing the menu. And looking at each item and imagining how it might taste. I love trying different meals! The pictured photos—> menu item shrimp and chicken rice noodle bowl. The fish sauce and shrimp and chicken were excellent. I added some hoisin and hot sauce on top…. It was delicious
We had beef noodle soup (pho dac biet) and grilled pork spring rolls. The accompanying fresh veggies, including bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, lime wedges, and jalapeno, were quite generous. The soup was delicious and slightly sweet. The assortment of meat was tender, adding a lot of flavor to the soup. The grilled pork did not have the charred taste that should come with grilled meat. That was the only disappointment for this meal.
Came here on a whine while visiting Albuquerque. I’m so glad I stopped by! I feel like the Combination Pho healed me… haha it was delicious, so complex and flavorful. I’m excited to visit Albuquerque again just to come back! Bless the hands that made my meal. It’ll go down in the best places I’ve been.
